Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for an Export Documentation Clerk to join their office in Basildon. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Create and manage export documentation to ensure compliance/deadlines • Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure smooth export process • Maintain good communication with colleagues, shipping companies, clients and partners to ensure all are updated on the shipment status. • Maintain detailed records of all transactions within Boxtop. • Ensure pre-advice is sent to overseas partner in good time. • Assisting Colleagues during staff absences / holidays. Key KPI’S: Measure of Success • React promptly and proactively to colleague/client/partner requests. No complaints. • Ensure deadlines are met – No delayed shipments • Effective communication so colleague/client/partner are not chasing for info – No complaints. • Maintain files to ensure all information is filed/recorded within Boxtop – No misplaced information • Achieve operational standards OTHER REQUIREMENTS • General - Comply with the Company Health & Safety policy and procedures and any other tasks deemed necessary by the management team • Any other duties that the company may reasonably ask you to perform which are within your expertise and skill sets...
