We are currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join as Global Head of Client Lifecycle Management, Global Private Banking.
Role Purpose
Reporting to the COO of Global Private Banking & Wealth & Premier Solutions, the Global Head of Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) will lead a center of excellence team to ensure a consistent, high-quality client journey across all lifecycle stages, while maintaining strict adherence to policies and procedures.
This role is a key first line of defense (1LoD), responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures related to Know Your Customer and Customer Due Diligence (CDD).
The role involves leading the global CLM team to improve CDD processes, enhance risk management, efficiency, quality, and client experience, aligning with strategic growth ambitions. Collaboration with regional teams, control functions, and second line of defense units will be essential to design and implement system and process enhancements.
The position can be based in Hong Kong, Singapore, London, or Geneva.
The role will be part of the Global Private Banking & Wealth & Premier Solutions COO Leadership Team.
Principal Responsibilities
* Ownership of the GPB CDD Process, including operating model oversight, system management, and process improvement initiatives.
* Set strategy and direction for the Global CLM Team in consultation with stakeholders, including the COO.
* Lead transformation activities related to the CDD process, understanding the impact of wider global CDD initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with all KYC and CDD regulations and policies to effectively manage financial crime risk.
* Prioritize team deliverables to maintain high performance and resource efficiency.
* Implement and manage the CLM governance framework, escalating risks and issues appropriately.
* Monitor key performance metrics, ensuring they stay within set parameters, and address root causes for deviations.
* Collaborate with market teams to identify and implement operational improvements, enhancing efficiency, controls, and client experience.
* Address issues promptly and coordinate with senior stakeholders for resolution.
* Manage system changes to meet evolving regulatory and policy requirements.
* Oversee reporting to senior management and ensure timely resolution of audit and compliance issues.
* Implement succession and talent management strategies within the team.
Management of Risk
The role involves owning and improving the CDD risk and control framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing control weaknesses and risks proactively.
