What you will do:
* Conduct assessments of care and support needs following key legislative frameworks, including the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
* Ensure the safeguarding of adults at risk from harm or neglect.
* Carry out capacity assessments and spearhead Best Interest Meetings.
* Support adults who may lack capacity regarding their care, including navigating Court of Protection applications and DoLS authorisations.
* Oversee a caseload of adults with learning disabilities and related needs.
* Maintain statutory records and manage your workload efficiently.
* Handle applications and oversight pertaining to Continuing Health Care (CHC) funding, ensuring compliance and best practice.
