M Group have an exciting opportunity within their Minor projects team as an Electrical Site Manager. The Minor projects team provides technical and engineering services for a range of electrical related disciplines, and activities. The role will encompass the safety, compliance, and delivery of several challenging projects. Job Responsibilities : Support the Project Manager at each stage of the project, including planning, documentation management, procurement, management of labour and sub-contractors Ensuring excellent safety, standards and quality are maintained throughout the life cycle of the project Being client focused, showing excellent understanding of the scope of works and managing expectations Maintaining excellent communication between all departments of the internal team and wider business units About You What you'll bring (Essential Skills and Experience): Ideally qualified with NVQ5 or above and/or 18th addition regulations, with a successful track record managing Aviation based projects Site experience, ability to manage work efficiently between multiple projects Proven project management & delivery experience within a safety critical environment Fully conversant with safety regulations (particularly CDM) Possess a strong commercial acumen with knowledge of project management and NEC forms of contract, to manage day to day contract obligations Demonstrable experience with both the commercial & project deliverables on previous projects Contribute to the enhancement of the quality of delivery solutions by identifying and introducing improvement opportunities Share knowledge and coach other team members in order to support improvements in team’s performance Ability to interpret scopes, technical information and drawings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate the people working with you CSCS Card SMSTS Qualified Full Clean Driving License Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors What’s in it for you ?
