About the Role
We’re looking for a Medical Equipment Field Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering excellent customer service in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Servicing, maintaining, and repairing medical equipment including:
o Hospital beds
o Patient hoists
o Pressure care systems
o Mobility and daily living aids
* Responding to emergency breakdowns and callouts in healthcare settings.
* Managing and recording parts usage accurately.
* Ensuring all work meets safety standards and compliance requirements (e.g. LOLER, PAT testing).
What We’re Looking For
* A full UK driving licence.
* Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Medical Equipment Technician, Maintenance Engineer, or similar is highly desirable—but not essential as full training is provided.
* Basic electrical, mechanical, or DIY skills.
* Physically fit and able to lift and carry equipment.
* Great people skills—friendly, professional, and able to communicate well with clients and patients.
* An organised, reliable, and self-motivated approach.
