BDS are currently looking for a Night Support Worker based in Lincoln.
You will have experience of working in the Criminal Justice system to provide support to our service users to take control of their lives, to empower all to live independently in the community.
Duties
Frontline support work 1-2-1 with 1 or 2 young people within a home environment.
- Supporting the YP to enhance their independent living skills
- Supporting the YP to develop and maintain a goof night time routine
- Tailoring person centred action plans based upon any needs identified
- Devising and reviewing person centred safety plans for each YP
- Supporting the YP to access ETE
- Offering support and guidance to the YP throughout
- Signposting the YP onto other specialist agencies such as – mental health services, substance misuse provides (for example)
- Ensuring property standards are well maintained and within this reporting any maintenance to the central maintenance team and/ or landlord
- Completing regular health and safety checks and fire safety checks
- Maintaining the security of the property
- Maintaining good relationships with our neighbours and the local community
- Supporting the YP to access their local community and amenities with this
- Keeping documents and paper trails up to date and within this documenting all support with the YP within their dedicated support file
Temp to Perm contract
Working hours are; 4 shifts on/ 4 shifts off 22:00 - 08:15, 5 hours break p/w unpaid
Payrate- £14.80ph PAYE or £19.54ph Umbrella
A Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required
A Full DBS Certificate (dated in previous 12 months) or on the update service is required
