Scargill Church of England Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, patient and caring part‑time Mid‑day Supervisor for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Applicants should have good communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high level of care and support for pupils during lunchtime.
* Supervise pupils while they play in the playground or in the dining hall, including assisting with food preparation such as cutting food and using a knife and fork.
* Supervise children in classrooms during indoor activities such as board games, colouring and watching age‑appropriate films or cartoons when outdoor play is not possible.
* Work in partnership with another Mid‑day Supervisor to ensure adequate coverage.
Qualifications & Training
* Paediatric first aid training (Level 3 emergency first aid) required, including Epi‑pen and “bleed kit” instruction.
* Additional mandatory training such as Safeguarding and Child Protection will be provided.
