Overview
To become a Work Experience and Job Coach in our Work Experience department, we need someone who is flexible, motivated, and personable. The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities. Our departments collaborate to establish and uphold the inclusive HoW culture. We manage interactions with the public, fellow employees, and nearby schools.
This position is centred in Redditch but is considered cross-campus, so all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other campuses or surrounding areas as required.
Responsibilities
* Liaise with local employers to secure suitable work placement companies, supported projects, and engage potential guest speakers.
* Visit potential placements to assess suitability and obtain relevant information/documentation.
* Conduct HASPs risk assessments where necessary or obtain copies of relevant risk assessments and insurance documentation from employers.
* Support in many aspects as described in the key roles and accountabilities section of the Job Description.
* Provide support in day-to-day activities, including working with learners who have a Level 2 (at least) qualification in maths and English, or a willingness to gain them.
* Travel between campuses and local areas as required.

* Salary: Up to £21,456.80 per annum depending on experience
