Yaspa has recently secured a $12 million (£9m) investment led by Discerning Capital with participation from longstanding Yaspa investor Techstars Ventures. This milestone funding will accelerate our expansion into the US market as we continue to transform payments and identity services for regulated businesses.
The Role
We're looking for a talented mid-level tester who can come in and provide testing and quality assurance to the development team. You'll help to create and execute test plans for our new development projects. From time to time you may be helping our Customer Success team when issues arise - issues may require Root Cause Analysis to be performed and responses prepared for customers.
Whilst this is not primarily an automation role currently, technical aptitude is required as the Yaspa product is an API based product (with a UI front end) and will become more of a focus of testing effort in the future.
The ideal candidate will have good testing instincts and be able to work and collaborate in an Agile environment. They will have an understanding of the many aspects of testing, including: regression testing, test planning, risk based testing, exploratory testing and usability testing.
Experience
You will be expected to have:
* 3+ years testing experience
* Web testing
* API test tools experience (such as Postman)
* Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
* Issue tracking systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk)
* Test management systems (such as TestRail)
Nice-to-haves:
* Experience in any of the following industries is a plus: financial industry, open banking, iGaming, startups, or enterprise companies performing real time processing.
* Ideally ISTQB or similar qualification
* Test automation experience (Jmeter, Gatling, PostMan, Cypress)
* Mixpanel
* Rapid7 or any logging application
* Performance Testing
* An understanding of web and mobile technologies
