Role Information

This role is for an administrator ideally with some knowledge of the beauty therapy industry to support the administrative functions within our beauty academy. You will be responsible for monitoring learner attendance ensuring necessary resources are available to facilitate course completion and acting as a liaison between tutors and learners. You will act as the first point of contact for learners and therefore must be confident, with a good telephone manner and be professional and dependable.

DUTIES
* Support the Academy Manager and Business Development Officer with the enrolment and onboarding of new learners including associated administrative duties.
* Process learner paperwork as directed by the Academy Manager and business needs.
* Support learners in successfully applying for financial support (bursary) by collecting, checking and chasing documents.
* Resolve queries by collecting, checking and chasing learner evidence (such as residency, benefits and ID).
Invigilate exams where instructed.
* Manage front desk and undertake reception duties providing learners, colleagues and customers with support, advice and guidance.
* Complete finance tasks as required by the business.
* Oversight of academy inventory including completing stock checks and supporting the procurement process, ensuring purchase orders are raised and fulfilled as necessary.
* Work collaboratively with the property team to ensure any issues are reported appropriately through FixFlo, and are followed up.
* Support the Academy Manager/tutors with collating health and safety forms for work placement.
* Complete Health and Safety and First Aid training, promoting and maintaining a safe working environment for learners and the team .
* Collect job outcomes and associated evidence for learners (where applicable).
* Be available to support other academies as and when required by the business.
* Support with course enquiries and signpost to the business development team
* Contact potential learners to arrange course interviews, inductions and enrolements
* Monitor learner attendance by liaising with tutors and the academy manager, contacting learners where necessary
* Liaise with MIS team to ensure all learner data and systems are accurate and kept up to date daily to ensure data and systems are accurate and queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
