Person Specification:
Knowledge, Skills, and Training
Essential Criteria:
* Registered practitioner to degree/diploma level
* Membership of the relevant Professional Body
* Learning and Assessing in Practice Qualification or equivalent
* Recent professional development evidenced in an up-to-date portfolio
Personal Qualities/Attributes
Essential Criteria:
* Effective communication at various organizational levels, verbally and in writing, including complex and sensitive information requiring negotiation or persuasion skills
* Ability to use own initiative within the scope of authority
* Willingness to advance clinical knowledge, skills, and competence based on current evidence
* Ability to analyze and assess situations, interpret conflicting information, and determine appropriate actions from multiple options
Job Specific Experience
Essential Criteria:
* Supervised experience during clinical placements
* Ability to mentor students and supervise junior staff
* Trained or willing to train in PMVA techniques
* Knowledge of assessment and therapeutic interventions in the practice area
Desirable Criteria:
* Recent experience in a similar role
* Experience in advanced wound care and end-of-life care
Managerial/Supervisory Experience
Essential Criteria:
* Experience demonstrating duties to junior staff
