We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Wakefield who are looking for a Drama Teacher to join them on a long-term basis from after February half term. The school values the arts, the department is supportive, and there’s a real focus on creating an inclusive, expressive learning environment.
What you’ll be doing
1. Teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4
2. Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire confidence and participation
3. Encouraging self-expression while maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom
4. Supporting performances, practical work, and collaborative learning
5. Working closely with colleagues to keep creativity at the heart of the curriculum
What we’re looking for
6. A qualified Drama Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
7. Experience teaching Drama in UK secondary schools
8. Someone enthusiastic, reliable, and happy to commit to a long-term role
9. A nurturing approach with strong classroom presence and organisation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
