Overview
Plateline Ltd is recruiting self-employed Car, LGV and HGV drivers for immediate starts delivering goods and / or refuelling across the South of England. We operate 24/7, offering flexible shifts including days, nights and weekends. This role provides an opportunity to earn additional income while working around your availability.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of vehicles, goods and refuelling services while maintaining high professional and safety standards. Drivers represent Plateline directly with clients and must demonstrate reliability, strong communication skills and attention to compliance procedures.
Licence Requirements (One Required)
· LGV Class 1 or Class 2 with Tow Licence (C+E)
· Car Licence with Tow Licence (B+E)
· HGV Licence
Skills & Requirements
· Valid Driver CPC card (or willingness to obtain if needed)
· Digital Tachograph Card (or willingness to apply)
· ADR qualification preferred; training may be available
· Professional, flexible approach with strong time-management
· Good written and spoken English for client interaction and administration
· Ability to complete documentation including timesheets, vehicle checks, risk assessments and proof-of-delivery records
· Right to work in the UK

Key Responsibilities
· Operate cars, LGV or HGV vehicles safely and in line with legal requirements
· Carry out vehicle inspections and manage loads securely
· Complete deliveries efficiently and maintain accurate records
· Communicate delays or issues promptly to operations teams
· Always provide professional customer service

Working Pattern
· Day, afternoon and night shifts available

Pay: Competitive hourly rates depending on licence category, experience and assignment type.
Experience: Driving experience preferred (minimum 1 year desirable).

Pay: £13.00-£19.50 per hour
