Daffodil House is looking for a Registered Manager to join the team. This role is full-time, working 40 hours per week. Priory Daffodil House is a 9-bed residential service in Pontypridd, South Wales. We provide support to males and females between the ages of 18 and 65, who are on the autistic spectrum, who may also be presenting with complex needs. We aim to help residents create and achieve goals in order to lead a fulfilled and enriched life.
About the Role
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Registered Manager, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. This is an exciting opportunity as Daffodil House is a newly opened service.
Responsibilities
* Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
* Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
* Manage all areas of the home, including budgets, quality, and compliance.
* Ensure that the people we support receive the best possible care and support.
Qualifications
* Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification, or provide evidence of working towards this.
Required Skills
* Experience working with Autism is a requirement for this role.
* Resilience to handle the challenges of the role.
* Natural empathy to support others through both the highs and lows.
