Private Patient Coordinator
Oaks Hospital - Colchester
Part Time – 25 hours per week
Working Hours – Monday to Friday am –
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oaks Hospital for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our Private Patient Team.
Oaks Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading independent healthcare providers in England. The hospital has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for patients with health insurance, patients who are self-funding treatment or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.
You will assist the Private Patient Manager to grow self-pay and Private Medically Insured admissions to defined targets. To effectively manage consultant relationships to ensure the private patient experience is consistently delivered. This interaction will be across all channels; in person, on the telephone and in writing. To be measured through patient satisfaction, compliments and/or complaints whilst undertaking analysis of private activity in order to maximise revenue generation.
What you you’ll do
1. Handle all enquiries and book appointments via telephone, email or social media
2. Provide detailed information to patient enquiries whilst delivering excellent customer service
3. Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal hospital teams, consultants, medical secretaries and external stakeholders to ensure appointments are converted
4. Maintain contact with potential patients to ensure they are satisfied with the progress of their enquiry
What you’ll bring with you
5. Marketing and or Sales experience
6. Ability to manage a portfolio of private patients from initial call to discharge
7. Sound Computer skills using the MS Office Suite and Web based reporting
8. Confident in engaging with a variety of people particularly in a high end setting
9. Excellent communication skills both face to face, over the phone and in writing
10. Articulate with the highest standard of personal presentation
