Priory Hospital Norwich is looking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the team. This is a full-time post offering 37.5 hours per week. We welcome applications from newly qualified candidates.
Set in the Norfolk countryside a mile outside the town of Attleborough, Norfolk, Priory Hospital Norwich is a 24/7, mental health inpatient provision, which provides care for males and females, split across wards which care for differing levels of acuity. We accept referrals from across the UK, and support the NHS with patient flow, by providing a pathway of care, suited to individual needs, including medium to high risk patients.
Priory’s acute and PICU services aim to allow more people to be treated closer to home and we support the NHS to repatriate out-of-area patients back to local areas. Norwich also provides a 24/7, rapid response drug and alcohol service including detox.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
