Division Info Located in Runcorn, United Kingdom, our newly extended 120,000 sq. ft. facility is a fully integrated site offering comprehensive manufacturing, repair, and overhaul services to the major players in the landing gear industry. Designated as a Center of Excellence, the facility specializes in surface treatment and assembly of small to medium[1]sized landing gear systems. As a key part of the Centre of Division, supports several global programs, including: Gripen – SAAB, Hawk - BAE Systems, KF21 - Hanwha Aerospace, AW101 - Leonardo Helicopters. Job Summary The Materials Handler will be accountable for the receipt and control of all incoming materials, the issuing and picking of materials in accordance with controlled documentation, and the dispatch of completed aviation products, ensuring that all activities are carried out in compliance with applicable specifications and quality standards. We are looking for a proactive and flexible individual who can work independently, meetigh deadlines, and adapt to change. Key Responsibilities Receipt and inspect deliveries, verify documentation and traceability, including suppliers' Certificate of Conformity Correct storage of materials in designated areas Issuing and picking materials based on demand and in a timely manner, ensuring accurate documentation is completed Packaging and preparation of outgoing goods in line with company standards Preparation of shipping documentation and liaising with Export Department Manual Handling of various sized items, including use of Forklifts, Pallet Trucks and lifting equipment. Unloading & loading of materials from Vehicles Follow health and safety procedures ensuring safe working areas at all times Ensuring all POD paperwork for deliveries is scanned and stored for retrieval. Supporting Responsibilities Assist Operations Department Maintain clean work areas Stock investigations Support continuous improvement and lean activities Skills & Qualification Proficient in standard office applications and ERP/MRP systems for inventory and material transactions. Strong ability to create and manage spreadsheets, including data entry and basic reporting for stock control and material tracking. High attention to detail with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. FLT license preferred; full driving license is essential.
