The company is seeking a motivated, passionate and eager-to-learn IT Apprentice to join its supportive and collaborative IT team. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in technology who is ready to take the first step in their IT career. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced professionals who are dedicated to mentoring and supporting them, gaining hands-on experience across a range of IT functions.

During the apprenticeship, the IT Apprentice will receive structured training that combines practical, on-the-job learning with opportunities to develop technical skills and industry knowledge. The role will involve supporting daily IT operations, assisting with troubleshooting, and contributing to projects that help drive the business forward. The Vending People values curiosity, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and is committed to helping its apprentices build confidence, capability and a foundation for future success.

In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
Help staff with everyday IT problems such as logging in, email issues and software faults.
Reset passwords and help users set up security codes for logging in.
Record, update and manage IT support requests using the helpdesk system.
Make sure support requests are dealt with on time and keep users informed of progress.
Pass more complex problems to senior IT staff when needed.
Follow step-by-step guides and company instructions to complete tasks correctly.
Support the companys email security system by helping spot real and false security alerts.
Install and update software on company devices, both in person and remotely.
Learn how the companys network works and help with basic connection problems.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
A genuine interest in IT and technology.
Basic understanding of computers, mobiles, and common software.
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Demonstrates good problem solving mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
Positive, proactive attitude.
Grade 4 in GCSE Maths & Grade 5 in GCSE English
Salary, Hours?&?Benefits:
£19,500 per annum.
37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (Flexible working hours).
25 days with an extra day for your birthday.
Health cash plan from successful probation completed of 6 months.
Pension scheme with Aviva after 3 months 3% employer, 5% employee.
Offer salary sacrifice holiday purchase scheme up to 5 days per year.
This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, well support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.
Youll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, youll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.
Youll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
