Salary £32-42K basic depending on qualifications - Overtime available on top £16.65-£18.87 (£20.76 at weekends and on call rate) Master Technician (Shift) We need you You don't have to come from a bus background (but we wouldn't be put off if you did either), but you will need to have worked in a engineering technician field - truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, farm - if it moves, it's good experience for working on buses Training and qualifications required: PCV or HGV City and Guilds BTEC NVQ Level 3 Engineering in HGV or PSV You will be contracted to 42 hours per week ranging from Monday - Saturday. You would be part of a 4 person shift ROTA and this would include every 2nd weekend off and you would be required to be on call one Sunday in every 4. Customers rely on our services to get them to work, to the high street, to hospitals, to days away and nights out - and as part of our engineering team you'll be a key part in making sure our vehicles are in tip top condition to do just that. It's a really important role within our depot, so we'll make sure you're as looked after as our vehicles are You'll have the responsibility of maintaining and repairing our fleet of 46 buses in Worksop, part of the near 500 we operate across the East Midlands. Our vehicles include Alexander Dennis and Scania buses. Don't worry if you've not worked on these vehicles before (or indeed buses) - we'll train you on everything you need to know, and you'll be supported by a great team of Fitters, fellow Technicians, Electricians and Engineering Managers who all pull together to do a brilliant job.
