Job Title: Programme Manager
Job Location: Canary Wharf (Hybrid - 3 days in the office/ 2 days from home)
Contract Length: Until 21/09/2026 (Possibility of extension)

What you will do:
* Project Planning & Execution
* Define and manage the overall delivery plan for the Valuation & Risk Management project, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.
* Ensure alignment between business requirements, functional specifications, and technical delivery.
* Delivery Oversight
* Coordinate cross-functional teams (business analysts, developers, architects, quants, data engineers, vendors, etc.) to deliver project outcomes on time and within scope.
* Monitor progress, resolve delivery risks/issues, and escalate where necessary to maintain momentum.
* Governance & Reporting
* Lead project governance routines, prepare status updates, and communicate progress, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
* Track project financials, vendor contracts, and budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery.
* Stakeholder Management
* Engage trading desks, risk, operations, and IT functions to gather requirements, align priorities, and manage expectations.
* Act as the central point of contact between technical teams, business sponsors, and transformation streams.
* Operational Readiness
* Ensure robust change management, testing, training, and documentation for successful go-live.
What you will have:
* Relevant technical qualifications
* Project Leadership: Proven track record as a Project Manager or Program Manager on large-scale transformation initiatives within trading, risk, or financial services.
* Delivery Expertise: Strong experience in project planning, execution, governance, and vendor management, ideally within data or technology-heavy environments.
* Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with energy trading and risk management (ETRM/CTRM) processes and systems is highly desirable.
* Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and drive issue resolution in complex delivery environments.
