Technical Product Specialist - Lighting Controls

Are you curious by nature, technically minded, and eager to become an expert in smart lighting systems? We're looking for a Lighting Controls Technical Product Specialist to join a well-established manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a diverse lighting controls portfolio and become the go-to person for all things controls-related, from wireless systems to central management platforms.
What You'll Be Doing
* Acting as the in-house expert for lighting controls systems and devices.
* Managing technical enquiries and ensuring system compatibility with lighting products.
* Troubleshooting issues and mitigating problems post-installation.
* Collaborating with sales teams and customers to define requirements and present solutions.
* Maintaining documentation and supporting production and installation processes.
* Building relationships with third-party controls partners to deliver innovative solutions.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
* Experience or knowledge of DALI lighting controls is essential.
* Ability to listen, understand problems, and apply product knowledge to solve them.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset.
* Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning a product portfolio.
* Comfortable communicating across departments and with people at all levels.
* Office-based experience and familiarity with professional environments.
Nice-to-haves:
* Knowledge of D4i, Bluetooth, and NLC systems.
* Experience using SolidWorks CAD software.
* Graduate with an electronics degree, showing enthusiasm and awareness of current trends.
