Overview

You will be the strategic owner of how iManage shows up in the world, defining our positioning, messaging, and brand health at a pivotal moment as AI reshapes our category. This high-impact, senior individual contributor role will give you a seat at the table with executives, close partnership with marketing, product, sales, and people teams, and the mandate to translate strategy into action across the business. * iManage Responsible For… Leading Brand Strategy Across the Business:
* Developing and evolving iManage's global brand positioning, architecture, and frameworks to ensure clarity, differentiation, and cohesion across a growing multi-product portfolio.
* Translating brand strategy into actionable guidance for campaigns, messaging, customer journeys, and employee experience initiatives.
* Partnering with product, portfolio, growth, sales, and people teams to embed the brand into everyday decision-making and execution.
* Unifying Messaging and Identity: building scalable messaging frameworks that flex across industries, regions, technologies and audiences.
* Co-developing tone of voice, narrative structures, and naming conventions with Product Marketing, Content, and Creative.
* Ensuring every touchpoint—from demand generation campaigns to onboarding decks—reflects a consistent, compelling iManage brand.
* Championing Brand Education and Enablement: driving internal brand education, from executive alignment to onboarding to global toolkits.
* Extending brand education externally by equipping partners, customers, and influencers to consistently and confidently represent the iManage brand.
* Coaching cross-functional teams to act as confident brand ambassadors.
* Guarding against brand fragmentation and upholding standards across regions and outputs.
* Measuring, Monitoring, and Evolving Brand Health: commissioning and interpreting brand research, sentiment tracking, and competitive audits.
* Defining and reporting on brand health KPIs tied to perception, trust, and engagement.
* Using insights to continuously refine positioning and messaging.
* Influencing and Collaborating Creatively: partnering with content and creative teams to set strategic guardrails and deliver bold, differentiated ideas.
* Collaborating cross-functionally to shape breakthrough campaigns and experiences.
* Staying ahead of industry trends, storytelling techniques, and creative technologies—including AI—to evolve how iManage shows up internally and externally.
* Anticipating the Future of Brand in an AI World: monitoring how AI adoption shifts customer expectations, industry narratives, and competitive positioning—and adapting brand strategy accordingly.
* Partnering with digital and content teams to ensure the iManage brand is discoverable and credible in generative search environments.
* Shaping thought leadership programs that position iManage as a trusted voice in the AI-driven future of knowledge work.
* Partner Strategically with External Agencies: manage external agency relationships as an integrated extension of the iManage team.
* Provide clear strategic direction, actionable briefs, and market insight to ensure alignment with business goals.
* Collaborate with agencies to drive creative innovation and bring fresh perspectives to the brand.
* Overseeing budgets and resources to balance efficiency with ambition.
* Ensuring agency outputs integrate consistently with internal initiatives and across channels.
* Continuously assess agency performance to enhance impact, efficiency, and innovation.
* Facilitate knowledge sharing to strengthen internal capabilities and long-term brand equity.

Qualifications

* Proven experience developing and leading brand strategy for a global, multi-product SaaS organization. Preferably within Legal and Technology.
* A strong track record of translating brand positioning into actionable campaigns, messaging, and customer experiences.
* Expertise in building scalable messaging frameworks and maintaining consistent brand identity across industries, regions, and audiences.
* Deep knowledge of tone of voice development, narrative structures, and naming conventions.
* Experience driving internal brand education and enabling partners, customers, and influencers to confidently represent a brand.
* Strong coaching and leadership skills to inspire cross-functional teams as brand ambassadors.
* Analytical skills to commission, interpret, and act on brand research, sentiment analysis, and competitive insights.
* The ability to define, measure, and report on brand health KPIs tied to perception, trust, and engagement.
* A collaborative mindset with experience working closely with product, creative, content, digital, and sales teams.
* A creative approach with the ability to set guardrails while fostering bold and differentiated brand ideas.
* Curiosity and adaptability to stay ahead of industry trends, creative technologies, and evolving storytelling techniques.
* Awareness of how AI and emerging technologies impact brand positioning, customer expectations, and competitive landscapes, with the ability to own the implementation of emerging best practices to keep the brand future-ready.
