We’re supporting a growing, forward-thinking business in hiring a German-speaking Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant who wants autonomy, flexibility, and the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders across Europe.
The Role:
As the Management Accountant, you will take ownership of the monthly financial reporting and analysis for the German entity, acting as a key business partner to local teams. Responsibilities include:
* Producing monthly management accounts, commentary, and variance analysis
* Supporting budgeting & forecasting cycles
* Working closely with the German operational teams to provide commercial insight
* Ensuring compliance with local accounting standards
* Balance sheet reconciliations and P&L ownership
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement across the finance function
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Fluent in German (written & spoken)
* Experienced in management accounting within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
* Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote setting
* Strong with systems, Excel, and modern cloud finance tools
* A great communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
