BENCH JOINER Haldane (UK) Ltd are looking to recruit a Bench Joiner We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our manufacturing team. We are looking for an individual who is willing to learn and develop within our company. Haldane (UK) Ltd are a Bespoke Architectural Joinery company, based in Glenrothes. Additional training will be given however the successful candidate must be capable of the following: Requirements Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Bench Joinery or Architectural Joinery Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Joinery workshop Finishing and jointing of timber handrail components Operating woodworking machinery Using hand tools Assisting wood machinists occasionally Keeping work areas clean and tidy Good hand skills and an eye for detail Ability to work from 2D and 3D drawings Ability to follow Health & Safety policies Applicants will need to demonstrate their competence by completing a skills test Desirable but not essential · Be familiar with timber types · Driving license You will be required to · Work to deadlines and under pressure · Work both on your own and as part of a team · Provide a quality finished product · Be organised and methodical Hourly Rate: DOE Hours of Work: Mon -Thurs 07:30 – 16:30, Friday 07:30 – 12.30. Overtime will be required when necessary. Holidays: 255 Hours per annum (includes Bank holidays)
