Brief Description
We are seeking a Project Leader with strong data analysis capabilities to support the successful delivery of the December 2025 timetable change, a critical milestone for the rail industry. This is a high impact role focused on enabling delivery through robust coordination, insightful reporting, and performance monitoring across a wide network of stakeholders.
You will play a key part in supporting cross functional teams, tracking progress against key milestones and performance KPIs, and providing the data driven insight needed to inform decisions and interventions. Working closely with train operators, industry partners, and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure all delivery partners are aligned and ready.
This is a secondment until March 2026.
About The Role (External)

* Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders while supporting programme delivery

Key Responsibilities
* Support the programme team through coordination of key activities, meetings, and milestones
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting packs to track delivery performance, KPIs, and risks
* Analyse operational, performance, and timetable readiness data to identify issues and support continuous improvement
* Provide timely insights and evidence to inform planning, decision making, and performance interventions
* Maintain RAID logs, action trackers, and stakeholder updates to ensure smooth delivery of workstreams
* Collaborate with colleagues across the industry to support the development and refinement of performance improvement plans
* Assist with documentation, governance reporting, and assurance processes to ensure visibility and accountability
What We Are Looking For
* Experience in a project support, coordination, or analyst role in a complex environment
* Strong data skills including proficiency in Excel, Power BI or similar tools, and experience in generating performance insights
* Highly organised, proactive, and confident working independently and as part of a wider team
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Rail, transport, or infrastructure sector experience is desirable but not essential
