Job Title: ERP Key Account Director (Remote)

Location: UK (Remote-based)

Industry Sectors: Retail & Manufacturing

Reports to: Senior Leadership Team


About the Role:

My client is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic ERP Key Account Director to join their team in a remote-based role, proactively managing a portfolio of 4-5 large enterprise accounts within the Retail & Manufacturing sectors across the UK. As a strategic partner, you will work closely with key stakeholders to drive the adoption and expansion of their ERP cloud/AI based solution stack (platform and consulting projects & services), ensuring the long-term success and satisfaction of our customers. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of core ERP systems & consulting services, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of managing complex enterprise-level accounts. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, driving revenue growth, and positioning their ERP solutions as critical enablers of business transformation.


Key Responsibilities:


Account Management & Growth:

* Manage 4-5 high-value, strategic enterprise accounts in the Retail and Manufacturing sectors across the UK.
* Develop and execute tailored account strategies to ensure customer success, retention, and growth.
* Act as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders within each account, providing expert guidance and support up on their solutions.
* Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within your accounts, driving revenue growth through up-selling, cross-selling, and expansion of existing relationships.


Strategic ERP Advisory & Consulting:

* Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their business challenges and providing tailored ERP solutions to meet their needs.
* Work closely with internal teams (sales, technical, product) to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing optimisation of ERP solutions.
* Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency, leveraging ERP features and functionalities to drive business value.


Customer Success & Satisfaction:

* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and act as the customer advocate within the organization.
* Monitor account health and proactively address any issues, ensuring timely resolution of concerns and continuous improvement.
* Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess the impact of ERP solutions and identify areas for enhancement.


Collaboration & Internal Coordination:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Implementation, and Support, to ensure seamless delivery and ongoing support for your accounts.
* Share insights on customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activity to influence product development and business strategy.
* Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to align account strategy with broader business objectives.


Key Requirements:

* 8/10 years proven experience as an Account Director, Client Partner, or Major/Key Account Manager within the ERP domain.
* Strong knowledge and sales of ERP systems, service sales and ideally with experience in the Tier One & Two Retail and/or Manufacturing sectors.
* Demonstrated success in managing large, complex enterprise accounts and driving business growth.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
* Strong understanding of business processes within the Retail and Manufacturing industries, with the ability to align ERP solutions to solve business challenges.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
* A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving revenue targets and customer satisfaction.


Desirable:

* Experience with specific Microsoft Dynamics ERP platform or SAP, Oracle, IFS, Infor
* Background in ERP services sales (business transformation, ERP consulting, projects, digital innovation, or change management) within the Retail or Manufacturing sectors.
