Things that you will do Lead day to day IT operations across our Manchester office and hybrid/remote users. Administer and improve infrastructure: collaboration platforms (Azure/Microsoft 365), networks and enduser devices. IT service management: ticketing, SLAs, documentation and asset tracking. Build and execute an IT roadmap aligned to business goals and growth. Identify, evaluate and implement technologies that improve productivity, collaboration and scalability. Advise the CPO on IT trends, budgets, risks and optimisation opportunities. Own security execution: device management, access control, patching and vulnerability management. Maintain data protection: policies, backups, disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans (BCP). Partner with compliance and engineering to align internal IT. Manage our thirdparty service providers (MSPs). Build vendor relationships and work with our finance team on procurement and contracts for value and performance. Coach employees on best-practice technology use and security awareness. Champion a culture of proactive IT support and continuous improvement. What you will be responsible for Availability, performance and resilience of internal IT. Overall IT security posture; GDPR, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials. Access control/SSO/MFA, endpoint management, patching and vulnerability remediation. Backups, DR/BCP plans and adherence to data protection policies. SLA adherence and high employee satisfaction with IT support. Cost control, procurement and ROI of technology investments. Contract management, performance and value for money from suppliers. Accurate asset lifecycle tracking and highquality documentation. Reduction of tech debt and operational inefficiencies. Reliable support for hybrid work and mixed Mac/Windows environments. What you are good at Handson technical depth: Azure, Microsoft 365 admin, networking/VPNs and identity management. Translating technical needs into business outcomes; stakeholder management. Road mapping, prioritisation and aligning IT to company objectives. Security mindset: Risk assessment, policy enforcement, vulnerability/patch management and compliance alignment (GDPR/ISO 27001/Cyber Essentials). Managing vendors and building crossfunctional relationships. Designing and improving ticketing workflows and SLAs. Budgeting, vendor negotiation and ROI analysis. Documentation and training to uplift adoption and security awareness. Supporting growthstage environments and hybrid workforces.
