About Our School
Located in Wigan, our new school provides a safe and supportive environment for pupils aged 5 to 16 years. Your Role and Responsibilities
As a SEN Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, addressing the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
* Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
* Report on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other school staff to ensure all needs are met.
* Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
* Build positive relationships with your pupils, driving interaction and fostering positive learning outcomes.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Possess a suitable qualification to degree level
* Have previous successful teaching experience
* Bring experience working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting
* Are skilled in behavior management techniques
* Are committed to professional development and eager to learn
* Are willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work
