SEN TA – Epilepsy & Seizure Care – Primary – Barking & DagenhamFrom £92/day | Primary | Barking & Dagenham | Full-Time | Long-Term Axcis are working with a primary school in Barking & Dagenham who require a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with epilepsy and seizure care needs. The school is well-regarded locally for its inclusive ethos, positive atmosphere, and commitment to pupil wellbeing. Easily accessible via District Line and local buses, it also offers parking for staff. In this role, you will be: •Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with epilepsy, monitoring wellbeing and responding appropriately to seizures. •Supporting learning in class, ensuring the child can fully access the curriculum. •Maintaining accurate records of incidents and liaising closely with parents and medical professionals. •Encouraging confidence, independence and social skills through tailored support. What we’re looking for: •Previous experience supporting pupils with medical or complex care needs. •Confidence in following care plans and safeguarding protocols. •A calm, reassuring presence and the ability to think quickly under pressure. •A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
