Teacher of Business Studies, Economics, and Enterprise & Entrepreneurship
We are looking for inspiring Teachers of Business Studies, Economics, and Enterprise & Entrepreneurship to join our department on a full time basis.
You will be expected to carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the College’s policies under the direction of the Headmaster. We are seeking an experienced Teacher of Business, with the ability to teach Economics to KS5. The department teaches Business and Economics A Levels as well as BTEC Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. Opportunities to lead a subject area may be available for the right candidate.
Teaching at LWC requires that members of the academic staff be willing to contribute fully to the life of the College. This includes tutoring, co-curricular involvement, boarding house duties, cover duties and attending parents’ evenings for the year groups taught. Liaison with parents is included in the sphere of the teacher’s responsibilities.
The Business, Economics and Enterprise & Entrepreneurship Department has 4 full-time members of staff. It is a successful department that attracts high numbers of students across all three subjects. We are a cohesive team who work together in a collaborative manner. We have a strong focus on co-curricular activities, which we are looking to expand even further in the coming years. We have three fully equipped classrooms with Smartboards.
