Job Description
Administer the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made within agreed terms
Reconcile invoices against delivery notes and purchase orders, completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
Prepare and process supplier payments, including BACS payment runs and purchase summaries
Support the Finance Manager and Head of Finance & IT, including deputising when required and contributing to team priorities
Maintain accurate financial records, support system improvements, and contribute to continuous process improvement

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
Degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years’ relevant finance or bookkeeping experience
Proven experience managing a purchase ledger and supplier accounts
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet monthly deadlines
Highly self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently
