Band 6 Community Physiotherapist
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 FTE DOE (up to £48,000 for managerial experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Part-time (3 days per week), open to full-time for the right candidate

Community Physiotherapist responsibilities

Independently manage a community-based caseload across a diverse adult population
*
Assess, plan, and deliver personalised physiotherapy treatment in patients’ homes or community settings
*
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care planning
*
Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists and assistants as needed
*
Support service development initiatives and assist with managerial responsibilities if experienced
*
Engage patients and carers in goal-setting and care planning
Community Physiotherapist requirements
Essential:
*
HCPC registration and CSP membership
*
Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate UK experience (NHS or private)
*
Proven experience in community physiotherapy and case management
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work
*
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
*
Experience supporting adults across a variety of care needs
Desirable:
*
Previous experience in private practice
*
Orthopaedic physiotherapy experience
*
Prior leadership or managerial experience
