The Role
* Location: Sefton
* Hours: Full:time, long term
* Start: Required immediately (ASAP)
Core Professional Duties
You will be expected to:
* Plan and Deliver: Create and teach compelling lessons, using advanced differentiation techniques.
* Use both formal and ongoing methods to assess student learning and analyse performance data.
* Expertly adjust learning materials for full student accessibility.
* Collaborate effectively with support staff, parents, and external agencies.
* Establish a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom setting.
Essential Requirements
Candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is non:negotiable.
* Proven, successful experience teaching a range of SEN within the UK school system.
* Comprehensive understanding of SEN policy, intervention strategies, and best practice.
* Demonstrated resilience, patience, initiative, and strong classroom leadership.
* Must hold a current, clear Enhanced DBS check, or be prepared to obtain one immediately.
Preferential: Relevant specialist SEN training or significant background supporting students with profound learning challenges is a strong advantage.
