Your new role Working within our small internal Corporate Legal team here in London, reporting to Head of Corporate Services & Governance for Europe, this brand-new role will continue the Corporate Legal support of the Fund internationally: Providing legal advice on a range of A-Z general corporate matters Develop, review, negotiate, draft, and resolve contractual agreements & commercial arrangements for the Fund internally & externally. Assist with regulator enquiries. Provide advice in relation to intellectual property protection, GDPR, and privacy. Advise and support with the development of policies and procedures. Research legal questions and legislation to provide and communicate legal advice. Support the management of external commercial matters and present to the business. Assist with Company Secretary with corporate governance activities and obligations. Additionally, the role with take on duties across: Strategic Planning and Business Performance Stakeholder Management, and Government & Compliance This role is based on-site at London King's Cross Estate, one of the core assets of the Fund's global portfolio, with a hybrid work schedule. What you'll need Culture is key at AustralianSuper, and we are looking for someone who is a team player that enjoys working in a high performing collaborative team, in addition to: Currently holding Solicitor's Practicing Certificate (England and Wales) / SRA Tertiary qualification in Law Strong Private Practise / Law Firm experience within corporate and commercial Exposure in data protection and privacy law Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills. Track record of commercial focused mindset when providing legal support & advice.
