Production Manager - Metal Fabrication, White Marsh, MD
Mistral Inc. is looking to hire a Production Manager for the metal fabrication line at our White Marsh, MD facility. The Production Manager will be fully responsible for all aspects of the Metal Fabrication/ Manufacturing activities within Mistral Inc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the execution of on-time, on budget, quality, and delivery of orders.
* Responsible for Product Line Profit and Loss.
* Responsible for all Line’s budget, inventory management, and control.
* Ensure production schedules, inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments are in place to meet customer demands.
* Ensure accurate entries to ERP relevant to the metal production Line activities.
* Provide open, timely, two-way communication with Business Unit stakeholders regarding delivery of customer orders.
* Ensure implementation of the Company’s quality, safety, productivity, and training procedures for achieving highest efficiency.
* Prepare and maintain current and future production plans and reports, capacity plans, and performance metrics.
* Provide overall direction to skilled team members, leading employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts guided by business objectives.
* Develop, train, and involve employees in maintaining and improving safety, efficiency, productivity, quality, cooperation and morale.
* Other duties as assigned by Management.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
* Technical and engineering expertise. Ability to read drawings and use of CAD
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (w/ focus on MS Project) and ERP Systems
* Knowledge of ASTM & AWS standards
* 10+ years of production operations management experience withinmetal fabrication
* Knowledge in welding processes
* Strong background in program management
* Experience working with all levels of management
* Highly self-directed and results driven
* Excellent communication skills required. Has the ability to influence, build commitment and engage employees in continuous improvement and change initiatives. Must be an effective leader with flexibility and willingness to change ideas in the face of new information. Lead and motivate teams, leverage skills, and providesupport to ensure effective execution.
