Williams Shipping is looking to recruit an experienced assistant credit controller to play a crucial role in managing the group credit control. This is a challenging role reporting to the group Credit Controller within a small and friendly team with a competitive package and benefits.
Roles and responsibilities
1. Responsible for chasing outstanding debts via phone, email and letters.
2. Co-ordinating the timely resolution customer invoice queries
3. Allocation of customer cash receipts and statements
4. Other ad-hoc projects and duties to support the account team as required.
Skills required:
5. Strong communicator, as the role involves interaction with all other departments at all levels throughout the Company.
6. Excellent telephone communication and negotiation skills
7. Strong attention to detail, ability to work on own initiative as well as work as part of a team with a common goal.
8. An ability to solve problems in a logical manner, thereby rectifying issues speedily and efficiently.
9. Self-motivated and willing to learn.
10. Working knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Excel
