Your New Company Hays are working in partnership with a well-established steel fabrication and manufacturing business based in Lurgan. Due to continued growth, the company is seeking a reliable and motivated General Operative to join their busy production team. Your New Role As a General Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations within the workshop and yard. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to responsibilities will include: Assisting with steel fabrication and manufacturing processes Operating basic machinery and hand tools (training provided where required) Loading, unloading, and moving steel materials safely Carrying out general workshop and yard duties Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and site cleanliness Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times Supporting skilled trades and supervisors as required Mon - Thurs 12pm - 10.30pm What You'll Need to Succeed To be considered for this role, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment (advantageous but not essential) A practical, hands-on approach to work Good timekeeping and reliability Ability to work well as part of a team Willingness to follow instructions and health & safety guidelines Forklift licence or experience (desirable but not essential) What You'll Get in Return Competitive rate of pay and overtime available Long-term, stable employment with a growing company Ongoing training and development opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity to progress within the business What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
