We are currently looking for a couple of compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our vibrant team at Helping at Home. This role is perfect if you want guaranteed hours, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.
We are seeking workers who can commit to the following pattern of shifts (these hours will be shared across a couple of staff):
Week 1:
* Monday: 7am–2pm, 3pm–10pm or 7am–2:30pm
* Tuesday: 7am–12pm
* Wednesday: 7am–2pm
* Thursday: 7:45am–3:45pm or 4pm–10pm
* Friday: 7am–2:30pm, 10:30am–11:15am
* Saturday: 7:45am–6pm or 7am–1pm
* Sunday: 7am–4:30pm or 7:45am–6pm
Week 2:
* Monday: 7am–3:45pm
* Wednesday: 7am–8:30pm
* Thursday: 7am–10pm
* Friday: 7am–12:45pm
* Saturday: 7:45am–4:30pm or 7am–6pm
* Sunday: 7am–4:30pm or 7am–6pm

What You'll Do:
* Provide person-centred care in clients' own homes
* Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
* Support with mobility and use of equipment where needed
* Help with meals and feeding if required
* Administer medication (training provided)
* Offer companionship and emotional support
* Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and shopping
* Follow care plans and maintain accurate records
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in care (preferred, but not essential – full training provided)
* A caring, empathetic nature and genuine desire to help others
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time well
* Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings
* Driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle (essential)
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS check (we can arrange if needed)
