We're delighted to announce the upcoming launch of a brand-new residential care home designed to support up to six adults with Learning Disabilities. Opening in 2025, our new service will set a new benchmark for high-quality, person-centered care. Our mission is to create a warm, supportive environment where every individual is empowered to thrive, grow, and live a fulfilling life.
We're looking for compassionate, committed Support Workers to join our brand-new team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something truly special right from the start. If you're passionate about person-centred care and want to be part of a service that values dignity, empowerment, and inclusion, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:
1. Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
2. Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
3. Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
4. Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
5. Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
6. Assisting with personal care as required.
7. Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
8. Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
We are delighted to have veteran-friendly policies, offer a Veterans Peer Support Network within our teams, and are able to provide Military Awareness and support to our colleagues. As part of our commitment, we will offer a guaranteed interview to current and former service personnel who meet the role criteria. Please ensure your military experience is detailed on your CV for our resourcing team to contact you.
Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching, and development.
