As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a high-performing Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team and help drive the next chapter of our growth.
About the Role
This isn’t your typical management position — it’s a hands-on leadership role that requires drive, accountability, and an eye for perfection. You’ll work closely with the owners and senior management to orchestrate the daily flow of service, implement systems and procedures, and uphold the high standards of quality and presentation.
You’ll be the key person in the service — the one who ensures every guest experience is seamless and every staff member performs with purpose.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Operational Excellence: Lead day-to-day operations to deliver outstanding service and consistency across shifts.
* Service Control & Flow: Command the floor & bar — manage service flow, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth transitions between busy periods.
* People Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a passionate team that embodies our culture and values.
* Procedure Implementation: Roll out and refine training manuals and service systems to improve consistency and efficiency.
* Quality & Standards: Uphold Mi Casa’s reputation for excellence — from food presentation to customer engagement.
* Customer Experience: Be the face of the café — anticipate guest needs, resolve issues with professionalism, and build lasting relationships.
* Collaboration: Work directly with ownership and management to develop new ideas, improve workflow, and execute growth strategies.
* Accountability: Assist in rostering, ordering, cost control, and compliance with food safety and WHS standards.
Who You Are
A natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Someone who can think on their feet and solve problems before they reach the customer.
Experienced in café or restaurant management (minimum 2 years preferred).
Strong in both front-of-house leadership and operational systems.
Available days and nights, including weekends — flexibility is key.
Confident, organised, and passionate about hospitality excellence.
Calm under pressure, with exceptional communication and people skills.
