We are advertising for Bank Activities and Support Workers to work a variety of shifts across our homelessness day centres and accommodation projects in Manchester and Bury. You will provide a friendly and professional welcome to people accessing our services, as well as engaging with them in communal areas and cafes.
During Activity Shifts, you will deliver education, training, and positive recreational activities aimed at helping people connect, be active, learn, and have fun. Activities may include working in our internet cafe, running cookery sessions, games, or arts and crafts.
Shift timings are as follows:
* Monday to Friday mornings: 9am - 2pm
* Saturday and Sunday afternoons: 4 hours shifts
Support Shifts involve building checks, dealing with emergencies, answering calls, monitoring CCTV, and minor domestic tasks. These are scheduled as:
* Evenings: 16:45 - 21:15
* Nights: 20:45 - 9:15
* Weekends: 8:45 - 21:15
Experience in running activities and working with homeless, vulnerable, or disadvantaged groups in a residential or similar setting is essential. Good IT and administrative skills, along with a positive team approach, are also required.
