Money Management Adviser (Household Support Fund) based in Herefordshire
Part Time: 18.5 Hours per week

Salary: £28,142 – £28,598 FT per annum (pro rata: £14,071-£14,298)

Purpose of the Post:
This role involves providing an advice service for clients accessing 0-5 HSF7 vouchers, foodbank centres across Herefordshire, and vulnerable pensioners. The aim is to prevent situations that could lead to ongoing foodbank reliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist parents/guardians of children aged 0-5
* Support clients in receipt of or seeking emergency food
* Help clients facing destitution
* Support vulnerable pensioners
The service will target vulnerable clients requiring supported advice, with referrals prioritized from:
* CA clients seeking foodbank vouchers
* Herefordshire Foodbank teams (subject to demand, wider internal referrals may also be accepted)
* Herefordshire Council 0-5s scheme
* Vulnerable pensioners
The role includes providing generalist casework support, focusing on income maximization, benefits, debt, housing advice, and related areas, with ongoing support as needed.
Additionally, the adviser will offer advice, information, and support to enhance clients' money management skills and financial capability.
Location:
Based at Herefordshire offices, with outreach at foodbank locations where possible, including occasional home visits.
