Responsibilities

* Sales and Profit: Infuse your passion for Claire's products into achieving retail store targets, fostering growth, and promoting self-expression; implement strategies and promotions to drive traffic and increase sales.
* Memorable Shopping Experiences: Engage every customer with Claire's positivity and inclusivity, helping them find pieces that reflect their unique personality and celebrate who they are.
* Piercing Excellence: Join our piercing experts through comprehensive training. Guide customers, conduct piercings, educate on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions and concerns throughout the process.
* Store Operations: Oversee operations with efficiency and flair. Manage inventory and cash transactions, support visual merchandising, and coordinate promotional activities to reflect Claire's fun and joyful brand.
* Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and develop your team. Foster collaboration, motivation, and accountability to drive results and help team members reach their full potential.
* Brand Representation: Showcase Claire's products with enthusiasm, offer fashion-related tips, ensure store is well-merchandised, and maximize sales opportunities.


About You

* Sales-Driven Mindset: You thrive on meeting and exceeding sales targets and maximizing opportunities.
* Customer-Centric Approach: You're passionate about providing exceptional service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
* Retail & Leadership Experience: At least one year of retail management experience preferred, with a proven ability to drive sales and support team success.
* Confidence in Piercing Services: Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance to customers.
* Strong Communication & Selling Skills: You know how to engage customers, build relationships, and close the sale.
* Ability to Work Independently: You're self-motivated, organized, and capable of taking charge when needed.


Job Requirements

* You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
* You are proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
* You hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have 1-2 years of retail management experience.
* You can stand during scheduled shifts and lift 11-35 kg (25-75 lbs).
* You can bend, stoop, extend reaching, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
* You are passionate about providing our customers with opportunities to express themselves freely every day.
* You are energized by interacting with customers and strive to provide excellent service throughout their visit.
* You are inspired by our values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self-expression.
* You have strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, employees, and management.
* You possess a solid grasp of mathematics, essential for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.
* You are a driven team leader with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* You are self-motivated and organized, as some stores may require you to work alone at times.
* You show a passion for fashion and stay up to date with the latest trends to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
* You can create a curated fashion look with product during your shift.
