The successful candidate will be joining a forward-thinking, award-winning manufacturing site, equipped with modern CNC technology and supported by a knowledgeable group of seasoned machinists. Roles and Responsibilities Taking full ownership of programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines running on Fanuc controls Manufacturing precision, small-batch components in line with tight customer tolerances Preparing tooling and fixtures, validating programs, and managing all stages of the machining process Following scheduled operations to ensure production targets are consistently achieved Working in line with strict Health & Safety and Quality standards Using materials and tooling effectively to maintain high levels of productivity Performing thorough in-process checks using standard measuring instruments Delivering completed work to an exceptional, repeatable standard Planning ahead to minimise changeover times and reduce unnecessary downtime Skills and Qualifications Strong hands-on experience programming and modifying CNC turning programs, specifically with Fanuc systems A high level of competence in reading technical drawings and working to fine tolerances Pro...
