About Our Client
Currently representing a £50 million T/O Consumer Goods Business, with ambitions to grow this substantially, who require an Operations & Supply Chain Director. The role will be based in Greater Manchester, and will require a strong leadership profile with a proven track record in driving change management to promote more effective supply chain practises across the business.
Job Description
The role of Operations & Supply Chain Director will be responsible for the following:
3. Drive Supply Chain Strategy: design and execute supply chain improvements to align and accelerate business objectives
4. Optimize Logistics and Transportation: oversees good movement, including transportation planning, warehouse and distribution
5. Supply Chain Leadership: Manage a team of 30+ overall, looking to develop capability, processes and ultimately customer satisfaction
6. QA/QC: Lead teams to ensure compliance is upheld, promoting quality whilst maintaining commercial margins
7. Risk Management: Lead and guide the business in mitigating supply chain risks across global operations, anticipating and supporting against delays, cost increases and disruptions
8. Import Merchandising: Lead the import function to promote operations and ensure OTIF
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, the Operations and Supply Chain Director based in Greater Manchester will look to attract the following
9. Proven Supply Chain Leader across FMCG / Wholesale Operations
10. Exposure to a Far East Supply Chain would be beneficial
11. Experience of managing large teams across multiple operations would be desirable
12. Excellent communications skills, with ability to lead, coach and effectively deliver change management across a global supply chain
13. Ability to influence at SLT and C-Suite to effectively deliver the supply chain operation
What's on Offer
The client is open to considering salaries in the range of £80,000-£100,000+benefits package. The role is predominantly onsite, with some occasional WFH and flexibility around start and finish time.
