Overview
Mid-Level JavaScript Developer – Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom (Hybrid). Full-Time, 2 days in the office per week.
This is a 16-week, free training program followed by a direct role with Barclays. If successful, you will receive your job offer from Barclays ahead of the course.
Company / Partner: Barclays in partnership with Code First Girls to upskill women into mid-level tech roles. The role begins after successful completion of the Mid-Level Accelerator programme.
What we'll look for
* 1.5+ years of experience in a technology-focused role with a mind for data
* Ability to pass a technical assessment in JavaScript
* Commitment to complete a 16-week, part-time course to develop mid-level skills
* Available to start a role with Barclays after completing the course

The Role
As a JavaScript (UI) Developer, you will design and implement user-centric digital products and experiences that align with customer needs and business objectives. You will work with product managers, developers and analysts to translate requirements into engaging user experiences, create prototypes and wireframes, and apply user research and testing to improve design. Technologies used include React, JavaScript, TypeScript and CSS to deliver innovative and secure solutions.
