A well-established organisation in Somerset is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their friendly team. This is a varied, office-based role supporting day-to-day finance operations, with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills.
Key responsibilities
* Process payments, invoices, and refunds accurately
* Monitor outstanding balances and support payment collection
* Maintain finance records on systems and Excel
* Respond to queries by phone and email in a professional manner
* Support billing processes and instalment plans
* Assist with credit control and debt monitoring
* Provide general finance and administrative support as required
About you
* Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or admin role
* Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills
* Confident using Excel and finance systems
* Well organised and able to manage a busy workload
* A team player with a proactive approach
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
