The Role
As a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, you will take the lead on complex fault finding, electrical and electronic diagnostics, and advanced repair work, ensuring accurate diagnosis and efficient resolution of technical issues.
Key responsibilities include:
• Advanced vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
• Electrical and electronic system diagnosis and repair
• Complex mechanical repairs beyond routine servicing
• Use of manufacturer diagnostic equipment and software
• Hybrid and electric vehicle diagnostics where trained
• Supporting other technicians with technical queries
• Completing diagnostic reports and service documentation
• Video reporting and digital health checks
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety

The Role
As a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair, diagnostics and maintenance of vehicles to manufacturer standards. Work will be completed right first time, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
• Vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repair
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Suspension, steering, brakes, exhausts and air conditioning work
• Advanced diagnostics using electronic diagnostic equipment
• Working on hybrid and electric vehicles where trained
• Completion of service paperwork to brand standards
• Video reporting and digital health checks
• Fitting of manufacturer accessories where required
• Working collaboratively within the workshop team
