Art Teacher required from September 2025 – Full-Time, Permanent

Teach Art to GCSE and A-Level with responsibility for exhibitions and portfolio development
This charming and historic independent school located in the Dorset countryside is seeking a skilled Art Teacher with a passion for drawing, painting, and printmaking. The school champions a broad and expressive visual arts curriculum and is known for producing exceptional student portfolios.
You will be teaching students from KS3 to Sixth Form in a highly resourced studio, with regular local gallery partnerships, visiting artists, and the opportunity to support pupils in applying to top Art & Design courses across the UK.
The department enjoys a strong place in the school’s curriculum and is well-supported by senior leadership.
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Fine Art or related field with QTS or equivalent experience
• Skilled in drawing, painting, print, and possibly photography or mixed media
• Able to prepare students for GCSE/A-Level Art (AQA or Edexcel)
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Right to work in the UK
