What you’ll be doing
Setting the direction of and monitoring the company H&S performance
Ensuring the company’s H&S manuals are up to date, available and reviewed annually
Keeping the RISQS, Achilles, and Constructionline subscriptions verified and ensure annual renewal
Obtaining annual permits to work with the Rail industry (Letter of Authority / Access Permits)
Execution of Risk and COSHH assessments
Preparation of RAMS and project site documentation
Registering of HSE F10 for eligible projects
Checking of subcontractors RAMS and questionnaires (PQQ)
Performing site inspections and audits
Annual review of general company policies
Ensuring Health and Safety training is conducted at timely intervals and is recorded
Organising fire alarm and fire extinguisher services and LOLER thorough examinations
Assisting the team with H&S related elements of tender bids
Charing weekly H&S meeting
Near Miss / Accident report collation and investigation
Who you are
NEBOSH Certificate / Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational H&S
Experience working on projects of £5M+
Highly proficient in juggling multiple projects and will be in your element managing various schedules and workloads
An impressive knowledge of H&S regulations and governing bodies
A strong communicator with a forensic eye for detail, a problem solver with an analytical way of thinking
Passionate about making a difference
Highly skilled and proficient in Microsoft packages
Full UK/EU driving license
